Composite Pallet Concept

The pallet concept was developed to rack 2800 lbs load, stack 15,000 lbs and weigh under 50 lbs. A sandwich composite material having a high stiffness-to-weight ratio and strength-to-weight ratio was selected for this purpose. The Top and Bottom Decks are compression molded and the Blocks are made of an injection molded thermoplastic material.
